Matilda MelinCreation and design have always been a big part of my life. I enjoy everything from interior design and clothes to crafts and drawing. By day, I work as a graphic designer and photographer, but I also love to experiment with color and form in my free time. I like to try new ideas and almost always have a new project in the works. It could be a piece of furniture that needs a new coat of paint, something I want to draw, or a new craft project I just have to try. Simply put, I'm at my best when I'm creating and being creative.
Art untilI am very inspired by my surroundings and nature, and I often return to flowers as a motif. I like their simple shapes and great variations, which give a lot of room to play with color and expression.
My flower characters emerged through my interest in both illustration and fashion. I played with the idea that each flower can have its own style and personality with different outfits. Together, they form a colorful and lovely group that celebrates differences and creativity. My intention is for them to feel playful and alive, and hopefully spread a little extra joy wherever they find a home!
