My art hovers somewhere between realism and abstraction, where I enjoy spending a lot of time on details that make each piece both familiar and unique. I like it when a motif tells more than it initially reveals, when there are layers to discover and something that lingers with the viewer.
My inspiration almost always comes from what's close at hand – from my surroundings, my everyday life, and the people around me. My works often contain something of myself, something of my family, and something of my friends. And perhaps, hopefully, there is also something in them that feels a little like you.
